Belt Grinders - "Set-a-hite" Pneumatic

The pneumatic Beltit Set -A -Hite features a height adjuster. By turning the adjuster, rubber wheels are compressed, increasing their diameter and allowing you to grind surfaces to precise depths.

Operating special SET-A-HITE arm with 25mm wide belts (option of serrated or coarse serrated wheel on arm)

A) Adjuster. Turn clockwise to squeeze tyre to increase the diameter.
B) Expanding rubber tyre.
C) Grinding wheel. Coarse or fine serration providing backing to coated abrasive belt.
D) Bracket to support knob or to ride on teflon against the top bar where fitted to the Beltit.
E) Knob for use with Beltit that is not fitted with a top bar.

Note 2: Sound level readings were taken without abrasive belts as the wide range of abrasive grits and backings have varying effect on the readings.

Note 3: Vibration levels measured under working conditions grinding a block of steel, using an abrasive belt 25 x 610mm Aluminium Zirconia, P36 at 90PSI (6.12 bar).
