All Beltits in the “Universal”, “Advanced” and “Heavy Duty” ranges have dust collecting options. The suffix of “VA” at the end of the part number denotes “Vacuum Assistance”.
Highly effective dust collecting on Beltits is possible due to the dust being collected from two different areas. A chute is attached to the under side of the Beltit. These are available in two sizes, to be operated with either 533mm or 610mm length belts.
If the chute is correctly positioned, it is possible to collect 97% of the dust generated. Dust is also collected from the rear of the Beltit housing. Special “Vacuum Assisted” (VA) motors are fitted to dust collecting Beltits. These divert a large proportion of exhaust air through the housing, to create a greater vacuum suction effect.
