Rectifying CERAMICS using a Double Bench Beltit (DBB)

These Ceramic Rectification processes are performed exclusively by the Double Bench Beltit. 

Three main methods of rectifying ceramics:

Grinding: For rectification of faults on the biscuit or under the glaze.

Linishing: For rectifying faults in and on the glaze.

Polishing: Polishing a "ceramic back to best".

Additional applications

Black marks: Procedure for removing black marks.

Gold: Procedure when using gold paint or decals.

Preparation

Polish preperation: There is a correct method for preparing and using the polishing powder.

Belt Preparation: Its important to prepare silicon carbide / cork belts prior to working.
