The Electro-Wand has been developed to provide a safe and reliable method of quickly removing weld burn on stainless steel. The Electro-Wand works successfully on quality stainless steel of light and medium gauge where a tig or precision type weld has been used.

The Electro-Wand enables weld discolouration removal to be carried out on dull, bright, grained, satin or polished stainless steel. The surface of the stainless steel is left unaffected.

Operating the Electro-wand:
The hand set holds a stainless steel replaceable tip. The chemical solution is pumped up to the tip as required. The solution moistens the insulating cleaning pad that surrounds the tip. The component to be cleaned is connected to the earth lead. It is not necessary to apply pressure to the hand set / cleaning pad.

During operation the pump switch should be pressed occasionally. Only a light amount of solution is required to be released at any one time. The system is instantaneous. Cleaning after use requires only wiping down with a cloth or sponge dampened with clean water.

Advantages over Traditional Methods:
Wire brush or abrasive pads are laborious and will leave a scratched surface. The Electro-Wand cleans without marks on the stainless steel and reduces cleaning time.

Pickling acid and gels are hazardous to use, environmentally dangerous, difficult to clean off completely and often leaves a dullness to the stainless. The Electro-Wand is a safe, self contained system that is instantaneous and will not mark the steel. The system is user friendly and avoids the need to wash off.
